GHGm to assess environmental technologies for agriculture

GHGm has been awarded a contract by Agriculture and Agrifoods Canada (AAFC) to support the Environmental Technology Assessment for Agriculture (ETAA) program. Under the three year engagement, GHGm will develop plans and models to evaluate innovative environmental technologies on farms across Canada, in coordination with parallel economic assessment. The methods are based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and cover environmental issue areas including energy, GHG’s, ammonia, pathogens, soil carbon and residual nitrogen.
