GreenhouseGasMeasurement.com completes final SMART report on Montreal BIOBUS project

The BIOBUS Biodiesel SMART Final Report has been completed by GreenhouseGasMeasurement.com for Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), TEAM Operations Office. Prepared by senior associates at GHGm, this evaluation entailed development of procedures, data analysis and quantification of greenhouse gas emissions reductions for a biofuels demonstration project.The subject project, BIOBUS, was undertaking in Montreal in March 2002 to March 2003, and was designed to test the use of biodiesel as a source of supply for public transit, to assess the viability of the fuel as part of the routine operation of a bus fleet, particularly in cold weather. The NRCan TEAM Office methodology, System for Measurement and Reporting of Technology (SMART), was employed.
